We were not in the path for the Blood Moon eclipse, but I happened to wake up in the middle of Kentucky’s night and shot these Super Moon pics with my Canon SX50 HS. These are hand-held pics which says a LOT for the SX50’s stabilization, though I could not get anything good zoomed in to its limit (200X), but pretty close (170x). One of these days I will set up my tripod for moments like these.
If you want to see some info and pics of the Blood Moon eclipse, which was very cool! Check it out at here.
Impressive!

Great moon shots! We wanted to see the eclipse, but alas, it was cloudy. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool! My husband has both the Canon 6D and Canon 5DSR. The 6D is his go-to camera, and the SR is one he bought recently 😃

Very nice, you must have stable hands for hand held shots. Mine would look like I took it out of window of a moving car on a gravel road. Tripods are my friend.
