Going to pull out all the bushes and start fresh with some Magnolias or Arbor Vitaes and some color for the area under the window.
May get rid of the barberrys as well, or replace with lower ones.
The big lilac in front of everything has blossomed three times in 15 years, and the flowers only lasted for a week! Too acidic of soil, I suspect, because the blossoms were only when I dumped tons of lime around the roots.
Let us see them if they blossom! Your pics are always so lovely.
And in a few weeks, I’ll use a Wednesday for my rear fence planting of burning bushes last fall. 😉
Spring God’s reminder of resurrection and hope.
Be blessed

This is cool. Enjoy your time in garden. We still have lot of snow in our garden and I am worried about hydrangea plants in pots now.
