Natural Bridge State Park/Red River Gorge in Winter’s Coat

Across the Bert Coombs Mountain Parkway in central Kentucky, about an hour southeast of Lexington, lie two of the most beautiful places in the Commonwealth, one on the west side and one on the east side of the highway, two places to inspire worship of The God Who Is.

  1. Taking a half day break from our home repair mission project near Irvine, KY, we visited Natural Bridge. This was around 2008-10. I hiked to the top of the bridge and it was breathtaking. Would like to go back and see the other side.

    1. There are LOTs of great hikes all around NB State Park, not to mention miles and miles of beautiful hikes in Red River Gorge. If you ever get Lexington way, let’s meet up for coffee or a meal, our treat.
